When a crisis starts
Emergencies usually fire in cruise. Easy and Medium mark people who still need help. Hard does not. Play the safety briefing every flight or the safety score is already penalized.
Emergency Control is the official pass that lets the host pick Fire, Depressurization, Unconscious Pilots, Crash Landing, Water Landing, Gear Failure, or Power Failure, or set emergencies to random or off. Medical situations are documented in procedure guides and are not in that pass sentence.
Sort them before you memorize buttons
Resolvable, flight continues: cabin fire, depressurization, unconscious pilots, and medical diagnosis. Flight-ending evacuation: crash landing, water landing, and landing-gear failure. Power failure is selectable in Emergency Control and appears in emergency videos; a full button list was not in the procedure pages read for this guide.
| Crisis | You do this | Flight |
|---|---|---|
| Cabin fire | Extinguisher from the galley, base of the flames, then check health bars | Continues |
| Depressurization | Oxygen masks on everyone; stay out of the sucked-out door | Continues |
| Unconscious pilots | Duct-tape the cockpit window, mask both pilots, a player lands | Continues if the landing works |
| Medical | Read the symptom prompt and pick a diagnosis for the doctor | Continues |
| Water landing | Life vests, then Land, then yellow rafts | Ends |
| Crash landing | Brace, then evacuate after the stop | Ends |
| Gear failure | Brace for the belly landing, then evacuate before the explosion timer | Ends |
On water landings, guides say only the first-deck doors open rafts on the A380 and B747-400. An orange crew raft is described at the front door after passengers are off. Gear failure is the one with a hard timer: airport fire trucks are said to save the airframe only if the cabin is empty in time.
Unconscious Pilots is the landing you fly yourself. Guides say the host should take the pilot seat so a disconnect does not soft-lock bin interactions. Passengers are not the direct target of this event, but a bad landing still hurts them.
Full steps sit on the emergency records. Practice one crisis at a time with Emergency Control if you own it. Do not turn emergencies off until you can finish fire, masks, and one evacuation without the marks.
